Firefox 4 Beta is now available for download and the product is scheduled for release early this Fall. It promises to have lots of great new features including…
- new tab location. On the top like Chrome.
- a new easier to use add-ons manager.
- support for the new HTML5 standard.
- Crash Protection. When a application (Flash, Quicktime or Silverlight crashes in your browser it wont effect the rest of Firefox.
There will be many more features to come soon.
I started to use Google Chrome because it’s clean and fast but I missed how well the extensions worked in Firefox. All of the extensions for Chrome are crude and not implemented well. Now Firefox 4 will have many of the same features as Chrome and still have those great extensions. Developers really need to bring it with the extensions for Chome.
